Delete your Unchained Goals account and data

This page explains how to delete your Unchained Goals account (developer: Unchained For Success Ltd) and what happens to your data.

Option 1: Delete in the app (immediate)

  1. Open Unchained Goals and sign in.
  2. Tap Profile.
  3. Scroll to Account and tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm. If you use a password, enter it. If you signed in with Google or Apple, type DELETE.

Your account and data are deleted straight away, and you are signed out.

Option 2: Request deletion by email

If you no longer have the app or cannot sign in, email privacy@unchainedforsuccess.com from the email address registered to your account, with the subject "Delete my account":

  1. Tell us the email address registered to your account. You do not need to send your password or any other details.
  2. We reply to that address asking you to confirm the request is yours. Reply to confirm.
  3. Once you confirm, we delete your account within 30 days. In practice, usually within a few working days. We email you when it is done.

No longer have access to that email address? Email privacy@unchainedforsuccess.com and we will agree another way to confirm your identity. We will never ask for your password.

Before you delete: cancel your subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. To stop future charges:

  • iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Unchained Goals → Cancel Subscription.
  • Android: Google Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Unchained Goals → Cancel.

Subscriptions bought on the Unchained Goals web portal are cancelled automatically when you delete your account.

What we delete

Everything linked to your account is permanently deleted:

  • your profile: name, email, username, photo and settings
  • your sign-in details, including any Google or Apple link; we also disconnect Sign in with Apple
  • your purpose, vision, goals, plans, milestones, habits and check-ins
  • your why, ownership and belief statements, reflections and journal entries, including mood ratings
  • your conversations with the AI coach
  • your accountability-partner connections, community activity and notifications
  • your devices, sessions and notification tokens

Deleted data cannot be recovered.

Delete some data without deleting your account

You can delete individual goals, habits, reflections and other entries directly in the app. For anything you cannot remove yourself, email privacy@unchainedforsuccess.com and tell us what you want deleted. We will do it within 30 days.
